I trained as a midwife in 2006 and I have also undertaken a PhD in the area of midwifery in recent years. As a result of this, I have a deeper understanding of how hypnobirthing can help you navigate the maternity services to ensure a birth that feels like you are in control. I work both in the hospital setting and as a homebirth midwife and absolutely love my job. I have four grown-up children, one grandchild and live in Limerick City, Ireland.
